Description
You can be sure of a warm welcome at Thistle Dhu Bed & Breakfast in the heart of Glenlivet, Scotland. Andy & Pat Wallace are your hosts in this warm and comfortable B&B and look forward to making your stay happy and memorable! Guests can walk to the nearby Croft Inn, a traditional Highland pub and restaurant which is warm, cozy and serves excellent food. Ideally situated for the Speyside Way walking holidays, fishing in the magnificent River Spey and the River Avon and more locally, the River Livet. Wildlife is plentiful and from the Thistle Dhu bedrooms we have seen Roe deer, Mountain hare, Buzzards, Sparrow Hawk and Red Squirrels. Thistle Dhu is perfectly located for many of the distilleries on the world famous Whisky Trail with over 12 nearby distilleries with visitor centres. The Glenlivet distillery is only a short 20 minute walk from here! We have three spacious, beautifully furnished double/twin ensuite rooms with splendid views of the surrounding countryside. Peace and quiet is guaranteed. FREE CRIB/COT available. Please call in advance to request. The superking size double beds or generous twin beds are fitted with pocket sprung mattresses. Our duvets and pillows are hypoallergenic complimented with fine linen bedding will ensure you have a good nights rest. There are a range of extras such as TV, Blu-ray/DVD player. There is also a silent fridge containing water and fresh milk for your refreshment tray. A selection of blu-ray disks and DVD films and TV shows are available, free to borrow for your evening enjoyment.
