Description
The Throckmorton in Coughton boasts 10 fully ensuite stunning bedrooms , downstairs, Sally, Dave and the Team welcome you to the family run freehouse. All rooms have shower rooms*, super comfortable memory foam matresses, Samsung HD smart TV's* with freeview and also access to on demand and internet services such as iPlayers and Netflix. The Throckmorton is situated just 300 yards from the historic National Trust property Coughton Court, seat of the Throckmorton family this historic Inn and is midway between Studley and Alcester on the main A435 Birmingham road. It also makes a perfect touring base with Stratford 8 miles, Warwick 11 miles and Worcester 15 miles. Birmingham 18 miles offers limitless shopping and a wide and diverse range of Arts and Culture. The NEC and Birmingham Airport are within easy reach and access to the midlands motorway network is only minutes away. Local buses stop outside the pub and this allows easy connection nationally. The pub & dining room are open all day every day with fresh, local, homemade food served to the public from 9am to 9pm (breakfast for residents from 7.30am Weekdays and 8.30am Weekends - New Year's Day is from 9:30am). *Our large family room has a shower over bath and the TV is not "smart" buts still has all freeview chanels in HD

Road from From The North ( Birmingham) (20.0 miles)Take the A435 south out of Birmingham, crossing M42 at junction 3 ( Redditch+Evesham)-continue on A435 through Mappleborough Green and Studley. Two miles south of Studley-The Throckmorton is on the right just before Coughton Court.

Road from From The South ( London) (110.0 miles)Take the M40 towards Birmingham from London to junction 15 ( Stratford+ Warwick), Take the A46 ( Stratford by-pass) towards Evesham and Redditch to Alcester. At the roundabout half a mile south of Alcester, turn right and follow the A435 for 2 miles to the village of Coughton. The Throckton is just past Coughton Court on the left.
