Tullochard House B&B Information

Description

At Tullochard House you will receive a warm welcome from Kate and Keith in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Perfect for those wanting a base for a holiday on the Isle of Skye or an overnight stop as they travel around the Hebridean Islands. Tullochard House offers comfortable, accommodation in well-proportioned rooms for up to 4 guests. Two Double en-suite rooms (one of which is on the ground floor with its own external door). The rooms are individually decorated, with original paintings and patchwork wall hangings . We have decided to continue offering the homemade takeaway brunch which was very well received in the last few years. You can order from the following: Muesli or Granola, Yogurt & homemade jam, Homemade flavoured bread rolls and butter (either savoury or sweet) Homemade Sausage roll Hard-boiled egg Fresh tomato Homemade Carrot or Banana cake Small pot of dried fruit Fresh orange or apple juice A fresh pot of coffee or tea can be delivered to your door at a time that suits you. Your brunch will be ready to take and enjoy on your trip or eat outside on the terrace. If you would like a really quick early get away, we can leave your brunch in the guest fridge the night before. We will no longer be serving a sit-down breakfast. Tullochard House is situated in Dunvegan in the North West of Skye and well placed to explore the Glendale, Waternish & Trotternish peninsulas, the Cuillin Mountian Range and Portree which is just 25 miles away. Within short walking distance is the Old School Restaurant, cafes, Post Office and local village shops. Kate and Keith can give advice and suggestions for some of the best places to visit, these can include good long & short walks, local craft outlets and locations for viewing wildlife and spectacular scenery that is not to be missed.

Accessibility

Tullochard House is accessed by two steps at the front door. Although we have a downstairs bedroom, the house and bedroom are NOT suitable for wheelchairs.

Directions

  • Road from Skye Bridge (55.0 miles)
    If using your Sat nav, please ensure that you ask it to take you via Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skye bridge (If not, it is likely to take you via Mallaig). From the Skye Bridge take the A87 to Sligachan and then turn left onto the A863, this will bring you into Dunvegan, please also note that Sat nav does not work with the postcode, please use Lat & Long (N57.43105:W06.57144) to get you near, then look out for the Health Centre and you will find our large white house directly opposite.
