West Park Summer Campus Information

Description

West Park Campus is ideally located just five minutes from Dundee city centre overlooking the River Tay and offers a central base to explore Scotland. Private, en-suite rooms are part of a 6 or 10 bed room flat with a self catering kitchen/lounge area and are available between June and August. West Park Campus is just 90 minutes away from 90% of Scotland’s population with the capital city of Edinburgh only 60 minutes away. The famous St Andrews Golf Course is just 20 minutes away and the V&A Dundee is less than 2 miles away and worth a visit while you are staying with us. With friendly staff on-site, ample free parking and free unlimited Wi-Fi, West Park Campus offers excellent value for money for your stay in Dundee. The sports hall and swimming pool is just over the road with cultural, tourist and sporting attractions only a stones throw away.

Directions

  • Train from Dundee Train Station (1.0 miles)
    By Rail Dundee is on the main East Coast route with direct services to Newcastle, York and London, and to Carlisle, Preston, Coventry, Birmingham, Oxford, Bristol, Reading, Southampton, Bournemouth and Plymouth. Rail journeys to the other major cities in Scotland (Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow) take approximately 1 1/4hrs. The railway station is only a 5 minute drive from West Park.
  • Air from Dundee Airport (1.0 miles)
    By Air Dundee Airport is 3 miles to the west of the city centre (only five minutes drive from West Park . From Riverside Drive (A85) turn left out of the airport. When you reach the roundabout take the third exit (up a steep hill). Take the first right onto the Perth Road. Continue along the Perth Road, passing Fernbrae Hospital on your left – travel a further few hundred yards and West Park is located on the left hand side.
  • Road from Perth (20.0 miles)
    From the A90 go Northeast for approximately 16 miles. At the first roundabout on the approach to Dundee and take the third exit on your right (Riverside Drive). Continue along Riverside Drive (A85) for about one mile until you reach the next roundabout. Take the first exit (up a hill). Take the first right onto the Perth Road. Continue along the Perth Road, passing Fernbrae Hospital on your left – travel a further few hundred yards and West Park is located on the left hand side.
  • Road from Edinburgh (59.0 miles)
    Start out going Northwest on Turnhouse Road. Turn right onto Meadowfield Road. Turn right onto Craigs Road for 0.5 miles. Turn left onto Maybury Road,pass through 1 roundabout, turn slight left onto Whitehouse Road and slight left onto Queensferry Road (A90). Stay straight to go onto M90. Turn slight right onto A90 and follow directions below from Perth.
  • Road from Aberdeen (67.0 miles)
    Dundee from the A90, at roundabout take 2nd exit to Forfar Road - A929 (sign City Centre). At traffic signals follow sign to City Centre. Continue onto Blackscroft, then Seagate. At East Port Roundabout take 1st exit onto East Marketgait - A991 to Tay Bridge, Arbroath. At Bridge Roundabout take 2nd exit onto Marketgait - A991. At Riverside Roundabout take 3rd exit onto South Marketgait - A991 (sign City Centre). At West Port Roundabout, take 1st exit onto Hawkhill & continue to Perth road.
